INDULGE YOUR PASSIONS - 14" x 14" MIXED MEDIA I began this series as an assignment to myself to create at least one small fiber piece once a month. My intention in making them a consistent size was to help me focus my attention and to help give the collection some cohesion. This is the first piece I made in the series. They all have the same canvas foundation and are all mounted on a painted wood base. I painted the canvas first and then played with some transfer techniques. The hand is mine - enlarged from a digital photo. The found objects were collected on walks.
