SILENCE 9.5" X 7.5" PAPER AND FABRIC The second quilt in this group expresses the sadness that I felt after the initial shock wore off. Sadness for all the families affected by the tragedies. I felt that all the words that could possibly be said about 9/11/01 had been said in one medium or another, and that there was nothing left to say. I felt that we needed silence to reflect on our own lives.
